Xiaomi Launches Redmi 3S in India at Rs 6,999

Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone - the Redmi 3S - in India. The new budget phone comes in two versions - the regular Redmi 3S and the Redmi 3S Prime.The Redmi 3S comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. It is priced at Rs 6,999.

The Redmi 3S Prime, on the other hand, includes 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a fingerprint sensor. The Prime variant costs Rs 8,999.

The new phone will be initially available on mi.com and a leading e-commerce site. The first sale is on August 9. Buyers don't need to register in advance.


Huawei P9 With Leica Camera Coming to India on August 17

Huawei is all set to launch its much-awaited new flagship smartphone - the P9 - in India on August 17. The Huawei P9 features a dual-lens rear camera co-engineered with Germany's Leica, a 102-year-old renowned camera firm. Huawei hopes that Leica's camera technology on its new flagship phone will set it apart from other Android devices on the market.

Nextbit Launches Limited-Edition Ember Robin at Rs 19,999

Nextbit has introduced a limited-edition 'Ember' Robin smartphone in India. The Ember Robin has been priced at Rs 19,999 and will start selling in the coming week.Robin is a distinctive cloud-first smartphone that was first launched in May. It comes with 100 GB of cloud storage, along with 32 GB on board, on which the Android-Marshmallow Nextbit OS automatically backs up apps and images.
 

The limited edition Ember Robin with a neutral, deep-black back with bright red end caps will also be available on nextbit.com.
