Ringing Bells claims to deliver 65,000 more Rs 251 smartphones

"Ringing Bells is all set to fulfill its promise of delivering 2 lakh smartphones to the customers by starting the delivery process of 65,000 more units," the company said in a statement.With the delivery of current 65,000 units the overall delivery of Freedom 251 will now stand at 70,000 units across India, the statement said.

Android Marshmallow Now Running on 15.2 Percent of Active Devices: Google


Google has updated its Google Play distribution data, providing figures for the seven-day period ending August 1. The data shows Android Marshmallow is now running on 15.2 percent of active devices.In July, Android Marshmallow was seen to be running on 13.3 percent of active Android devices - indicating a rise in adoption of 1.9 percent in a single month. To recall, Android Marshmallow in June was running on 10.1 percent active of Android devices.

The 14.1-inch laptop runs Windows 10 Home, and is claimed to be India's most affordable laptop in its segment.The RDP ThinBook, weighing 1.4kg, is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 SoC (4 cores, 4 threads, 1.44GHz base clock, 1.84GHz Turbo clock, 2MB Cache) coupled with 2GB of RAM. It bears 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It comes with a 14.1-inch HD (1366x768 pixels) LED-backlit display and a 10000mAh Li-Polimer battery rated to deliver up to 8.5 hours of backup.

Telangana's Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao, who launched the laptop, assured all support to the company for its plans to manufacture the device in Telangana in three to four quarters.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Leaked in Images; Launch Expected Mid-September

Just a day after the launch of the Redmi 3S smartphone in India, its successor the Redmi 4 has purportedly been leaked in images. The leak exposes the smartphone from all angles, leaving little left in the unknown.
